Common Questions

Do I have to ride, or own a motorcycle go to a FBC church?

Of course not! Not everyone who comes to FBC is a biker, or owns their own bike. Some have never even rode before. We jokingly say at FBC, “There are two kinds of folks who come to FBC, those who ride, and those who will ride…” Maybe you never will, you’re still welcome to join us. Just remember that our vision and passion is to reach the motorcycle community. If you don’t enjoy the biker community, you may not enjoy Freedom. But come and check us out. Folks that come who are not bikers enjoy the realness and honesty of our ministry. We are all about a real relationship with Jesus Christ, and are passionate for the open road.

What type of Ministries Does your church offer?

We will offer everything any mainstream church on the corner will offer; Kids ministries, Youth ministries, Men’s and Ladies ministries, Bible Studies, etc. We just do it biker style.

Freedom Biker Church Surrey launched on February 6th, 2011 and it is our intention toprovide all of the ministries shown here, by the fall of 2011 as we grow in numbers to support these various ministries.

What do I need to wear if I come to the church?

Clothes!  Wear what you have.  Modest of course, but as far as what you wear to church, wear what you have.  For us, it’s Black Leather, Jeans, and Tattoos.  Now that’s proper Sunday attire.

What makes FBC different from other motorcycle ministries?

We are a church. That is the biggest difference. We set-up at biker events, do bike rides, and work with area biker hangouts and dealers, the difference is that after the rally or event is over, we offer a place to come and grow spiritually. We offer a church home and family. We love working with area MC’s and MM’s as we support each other in this calling to reach motorcyclists.

How do I need to dress to come to FREEDOM?

What’s good for every day will work for us.  When God talks about wanting your best He is talking about starting with what’s on the inside.  Don’t worry about dressing to impress, just put on that favorite riding outfit and head on over.
